"I noticed the lip balm while I was shopping around online and thought that the concept was cute. I mean, look a the way it's presented; it looks like a fat, giant crayon I would use as a little girl. Appearances aside, the product itself is rich and feels extremely moisturizing, which is a good thing. I'm prone to having dry lips, so this was a bit of a surprise. The Chubby Stick works better than my stand-by, tried and true lip balm! The colors are subtle enough that it draws attention without being overwhelming. Coupled with Clinique's Superbalm for a little shine, it can easily be dressed up. I am in love with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a multi-functional, yet stylish lip balm."

Cons: needs mpre colors, not if you want high-gloss, pricey

I'm not a big fan of wearing lipstick on a daily basis; this feels like a lip balm and has great color!
It's moisterizing and isn't very thick

"I do not wear lipstick, and i have never worn lip gloss because I hate the sticky feeling. This lip colour balm is the answer to all my lip needs! Not only does it provide a lovely tint to my lips, but it also moisturizes and leaves my lips luscious and healthy looking. I have oily skin, and the balm does not exacerbate the oiliness at all. I bought the Woppin' Watermelon color and it's a wonderful pretty pink color. I am very fair, so this color suits me perfectly."

"The Chubby Stick isn't as glossy as I had hoped. It also feels more like a lipstick to me than a lip balm. I usually put a gloss over it because my lips feel too dry when I use it alone. I won't be buying another one once it runs out."

"Because that's exactly what has happened here. I was originally very happy with how soft the Superbalm line left my lips. I was less thrilled with how sticky the glosses are. Chubby Sticks are my dream come true: all of the soft, none of the sticky. My sole complaint? Only eight colors. I need dozens."

"I like using lip balm on my lips, but I need a bit of extra color. This chubby stick gives me an easy way to apply a little extra color while keeping my lips smooth and soft. The "pencil" shape lets me get the color just where I want it. GREAT stuff, although a little expensive for what it is."

"At 48 the only time I wear lipstick is in the evening as I think in your late 40's unless your going for a signature look like the red lips of Paloma Picasso, lipstick can be aging during the day. I am neutral very fair and my hair is very Irish black/brown but my lips are very pale, so during the day I do need some lip color. I love lip gloss and have many from Clinique, but sometimes I want something less sticky and work appropriate that has some staying power, Clinique Chubby stick is hands down the best of both worlds. It leaves my lips so naturally youthful and gorgeous with just a hint of dewy sheen and the translucent color is more like a satin stain which adds a touch more color to the lips than almost lipstick. I LOVE strawberry and honey colors and the cherry color I think would look good with ultra pale skin or a deep tan with just some mascara. I also fly a lot, everyday actually and Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Color Balm does what it says and keeps my lips soft and supple in the air and on the ground. LOVE IT!"

"I used Chubby Sticks when they originally came out around 20 years ago! I had my "Favorite Color" and never went without it! It was the kind that had to be sharpened!
Needless to say, to see these return to Clinique in a much user friendly and better formula, I cannot get enough! They're SUPER moisturizing, colorful, and extremely light weight. I am a "simple make-up" girl, so these are the icing on the cake for me! I have 4 or 5 of the current colors, however, I heard they will be coming out with some new shades soon! I cannot wait!"

"I have the driest cracked lips. They always peel too. Unless I put on alot of chapstick before I even put on "moisturizing" lipsticks it will always end up looking cracked and dry. I live in humid Florida too. This stuff is a miracle! It has great pigment like a lipstick but high end moisturizing and it doesnt feel greasy or sticky. I promise you. I have tried high end and this is one of the best. I will be using this for years to come. Please clinique come out with more colors!"

"I have been obsessed with this product ever since I got a little sample of Super Strawberry! I love how it looks like a giant crayon, its super easy to apply and doesn't dry out lips at all. My favorite colors so far are Super Strawberry and Woppin Watermelon, but I really want to try Chunky Cherry. I also really appreciate the fact that it has no smell or flavor because I always get the flavor in my mouth and it's usually pretty gross. I always carry a stick around in my pocket! Will definitely purchase again!"

"I got the mega melon in a GWP and I just love it. It's not something I'd normally buy. I find most glosses to be too gooey. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice and moisturizing these are. I wear the mega melon over a warm red or spice lipliner and the color looks great and lasts all day. will definitely buy again."
