But, my skin got addicted. Not in a good way. I only had a sample pot that I used for about 3 or so weeks. Once it was gone I went back to the clinique moisture gel. For almost a week my skin was incredibly dry. It flaked and cracked no matter what I used. After a week it was back to normal I do not ordinarily have dry skin, so I am willing to attribute it to this moisturizer.

For this reason, I am not going to get it again. The moisture gel works almost as good, and I never want to have dry skin like that again. But, I would still recommend it to a friend with this caution."

"I just purchased the intense moisture surge to use on my very dry, fair, sensitive skin, which has been peeling in some areas from a lack of moisture (not a sunburn), so i figured i'd give this product a try. i love the regular moisture surge, but the clinique advisor told me that my skin needed the "intense" version so the gel-lotion formula could go underneath my skin and restore my moisture barrier. while that very well be what i need, my face was broken out the next morning all over! and i never break out! plus, it feels very greasy on your skin, even though it is oil free. this product probably works great for people with less-sensitive skin, but i'm going to exchange the intense moisture surge for the regular moisture surge as soon as possible."

"The previous Moisture Surge product was not as heavy and thick on the skin as this one. The previous version was nice under make-up. This one, not so much. It's not bad if you are looking for a thicker moisturizer. I would buy it again only because there isn't anything else by Clinique that is better."

"I absolutely love this product! It provides exactly the right amount of moisture needed! It does feel slightly sticky when applied but that is the only fault I can find with it! Otherwise...its amazing! I was looking for something a bit more substantial, yet didnt want a heavy feeling and certainly didnt want something that would encourage my makeup -- ( I wear Clinique --Even Better) to settle into those tiny fine lines."

"i have dry, sensitive skin and i don't get the hype over this product. my skin feels taut and itchy. this might work for only moderately dry skin, but not very dry skin. i do like the gel/serum texture, and i'm happy it is fragrance free, but i'm having to layer on my regular moisturizer over top of this!"

"I initially received the hydrator as a sample and let it sit for a few months before actually trying it. I wish I wouldn't have let it sit that long! I have combination skin but it's not overly dry. I do, however, have fine lines starting and this product definitely seems to help with them. It's very hydrating and refreshing. It appears to go on slick and oily, but after a few seconds, your skin soaks it up. I use it morning and night. While it may be wishful thinking on my part, I think my skin looks better and healthier. I'm definitely a fan!"

"I use the 3-Step system, and the Dramatically Different moisturizer is excellent for my usual needs, but oftentimes, especially in winter, the skin around my nose and mouth are dryer and need a little something extra. I received a sample of Moisture Surge Intense and it is definitely what I needed. It really quenches those itchy, dry areas. I use it daily."

"I suffer from dry patches occasionally especially in the colder months on my chin area and i have tried every different kind of moisterizer out there for years and never found anything that worked until now. The min the lady from clinique applied this to my face I could feel the difference! My face looked and felt so hydrated and smooth. Most creams I have used in the past just absorbs in the skin and a few hrs later it feels as if you've never applied anything at all, but not this, when it says it moisterizes for 24 hrs they mean it! It gives my skin that "healthy glow," without looking oily PLUS, the best thing is it works beautifully under my foundation where as before no matter how much cream I'd apply before my foundation my chin area would still look and feel dry. No more! I FINALLY found my miracle! Thank you clinique!!!"

"I had tried the regular Moisture Surge and loved it, but I still had dryness and flaking on my face, especially my forehead. When I received the email about this new product, I jumped on it! Moisture Surge Intense is the BEST! It relieved my skin right away and made it so soft! My skin used to actually sting from dryness, and now it is comfortable for 24 hours plus. I am now on my second jar and will continue to buy it -- I've found my permanent moisturizer! Thank you! I use Acne Solutions and that changed my skin. Now Moisture Surge Intense has made it even better."
