"This is a good Moisturizer. Its not my favorite, but I have noticed a difference on my skin. Using all three Acne solutions products together seems to work amazing. I dont think I will use the moisturizer by itself. I only wish that the moisturizer came in a bigger size and wish it was a bit more creamier. I always finished the moisturizer before the other 2 Acne solution products, therefore, I wish there was a bigger size available to buy."

"After using another line of make-up for years I began to have cyst like breakouts. Might I add the other make-up line was more expensive too but any way I had enough with the embarressing breakouts all the time and decided to give Clinique a try. Smells Terrible

"I would have given this moisturizer a try for a lilttle while longer than a week but the smell is unbearable. I feel like after walking out the house it's all i smell and cant help but wonder if thats what other people would be smelling on me. It is also drying and leaves my face crinkly. As a leave on product the smell definitely needs to be improved."

"I have tried benzoyl peroxides, steroids and retinoids in the past. Of all otc benzoyl peroxides, Clinique's is probably the best. I usually break out just as about I am to have my period but for the last 2 months that I have been using this moisturizer twice a day, I couldn't tell if I'm pms'ing or not because my skin is clear. I still have a lot of open pores and comedones but definitely the cystic acne has lessened dramatically."

"My skin is very oily in some place such as my forehead and nose. I thought that I wouldn't need moisturizer because of that. But, after reading online and watching videos from this website I found out that you should use moisturizer. If you don't and constantly try to dry out your face, it's like your skin going, "I'm dyeing of thirst, need liquid." Therefore, it feels the need to produce more oil. After using this my skin isn't half as oily as it use to be and my skin isn't dried out after using the acne steps."

Pros: gently clears acne, feels light, reduces redness, more gentle than other benzoyl peroxide products, lightly moisturizes

"I suffer adult acne and very oily skin that is also sensitive (redness, allergies, sometimes combination/dry cheeks, the whole nine yards.) This is wonderful for my skin.

I was skeptical because other moisturizers make me break out (no matter how large of print they scream non omedegenic) and/or feel greasy, make me more oily.

I just use a small bit of this (my first tube lasted me forever, I am now about to order my third I believe) and it helps keep my acne under control (benzoyl peroxide in it) and it feels so light, like nothing on my face, yet my skin feels relieved from the dry/flakiness, and over time feels softer.

I use a salacylic makeup during the day, and this at night.

I have sometimes worn this during the day if I am not wearing salacylic makeup over it and not going to be in the sun, just because I love how this makes my skin look and feel - soft, less red, and slowly gently clears my acne. (Do nott wear benzyol peroxide in the sun, or mix with salacylic products)

For me, this relieves the redness, makes my skin feel soft/ moisturized without oiliness, and I have less "side effects" than other benzoyl peroxide medicines. I have cut back on my usual non-Clinique brand benzyol product in favor of this."

"I use the three step and ever since i have started this system, my acne is GONE ! This third step is so great, it really does help prevent and treat acne and FAST ! I will say it does dry my skin out, but no worries just add your favorite moisturizer as a 4th step and that problem is gone ! When I put this moisturizer on I give it a few min to soak in before adding that extra boost of moisturizer. I love it and you will too :) If you are wondering what moisturizer to use on acne prone skin, I recommend Moister Surge, it is a pinkish gel and does not irritate your skin."

"I purchased the Clinique Acne Clarifying Lotion and the Acne Moisturizer to try to clear up breakouts on my forehead, chin, and neck (specifically the cystic kind that just form and sit under the skin for weeks). I had previously tried other less expensive medicated products (both Salicylic acid and Benzoyl Peroxide) with no results. After using both the Clarifying Lotion and Acne Moisturizer, almost ALL of my breakouts were gone within 7-10 days. I have noticed if I use both products twice a day, acne clears up quickly, but does dry out my skin. Using the Clarifying Lotion only once per day (or alternatively, using only the Clarifying Lotion at night, and not using cleanser or lotion) seems to alleviate the dryness. I use the Acne products only on my forehead and chin, or any other trouble spots. I use other oil-free Clinique moisturizers on the rest of my face. The Acne products are unbelievably effective at controlling acne and shine. Love these products!"

Good product, poor packaging

"I like the moisturizer itself but the packaging leaves something to be desired. The product clumps around the end of the tube while not in use and the product comes out with pieces of hardened moisturizer. It makes it difficult to apply. The product can be drying to most skin but i usually use a small amount of this and then another oil free moisturizer over this."

"I didn't use moisturizer for a long time (horrible I know)because I was afraid of adding more oil to my already oily skin. When I finally started using it, I still had issues, because a lot of moisturizers can be very heavy and/or have oil in them, which cause me to break out.

This however, is perfect. just the right amount of moisturize my skin, and prevent break outs! Can't do better then that.

A lot of people say the acne solutions line dries out their skin. I only use it once a day, int he morning and in the evening, just use a face cloth to get rid of the make up. So it doesn''t dried out my skin."

"I really like the feel of this treatment on my skin. It's too soon to tell if it will clear up my stubborn acne but usually benzoyl peroxide does the trick. I was hesitant to buy this because benzoyl peroxide bleaches fabrics and hair. Especially eyebrows. But having tried everything else I thought what do I have to lose? I'll just be extra careful not to apply it to my jawline so it won't get on my collars. And I can always tint my eyebrows!!! ;)"

"I am giving up on this product. I've tried finding where this product fits-in in a regimen, but haven't quite gotten it. It in no way moisturized my face (but leaves behind a residue that makes applying moisturizer quite difficult!). But moisturizing isn't what I bought this for. After going to the Clinique Counter, I have decided Clinique's Acne Spot Gel Lotion is more in tune with what I need (a peroxide treatment)"
