"I have been using this product (natural black) for years and I love it. It is natural, long wearing, and not harsh.It is excellent for sensitive eyes. Just wet the brush, dap it in the product, and apply. Perfect dazzling eyes. I am with the other reviewers. PLEASE DO NOT DISCONTINUE!!"

Pros: stays on all day, doesn't tug when applying, can be applied easily over eye shadow

"This eyeliner is the best for someone like me who doesn't like harsh looking liquid eyeliner and has diffulty applying pencil liners. I have been using it for years. It stays on all day unlike pencil eyeliners. I have to work with it but it is worth it. I just wet the brush. Then run it over the product several times until the brush is flat and not overly wet. Then I apply it to my eyelid while the brush is flat so that it makes the thinest line possible. It comes out perfect. Please don't ever stop making it."

"This is the best eye liner ever made. I've been using this for at least 20 years. Recently tried to purchase at a major department store and was told that it is being discontinued. Please don't let this happen as I don't think there is product on the market that can compare to this."

"I purchased this eye liner for the first time and I really, really like it. At first, it took some getting used to. With the right technique [one that worked for me], I was very impressed with it. I don't use the brush that comes with it, though. I purchased the Clinique eye liner brush and have found that it is so much easier to apply the eye liner brush with it instead, especially if you want a more intense color."

"I love Clinique and have been wearing their makeup line for years.
This particular brush-on eyeliner is actually what we were forced to buy/use years ago - before products improved to current standard. To apply, you wet the brush and find it's either too thick or too thin and just keep playing with it until you wish you had a good ole eyeliner pencil."

"It lasts pretty well, but it is very hard to apply. Messy with the water and brush technique. It's hard to get the same intensity on both eye lids unless you have plenty of time. I used it a few times, but find I prefer a primer and then a powdered eye liner."

"I've used this eye liner for years and love it!!! It's great because depending on how much water you use, you can get it lighter or darker according to your personal taste. Also, the brush is the best!!!! I wish they would pack the gel eye liner with this same brush!!! It would be so much easier to use. I guess I'll just keep using this eye liner. "This is the BEST eyeliner I've ever had in my life! Bar none! The combination with water makes for the best & most perfect line, while not too thick or flaky. It is really smooth, and if you compare it to the premixed eyeliners, they can't even compare to this gem of an eyeliner. Just love it!"
