"For all the ladies that are worried about superbalanced not having a pump, Good news It does! Have one now you just have to ask your consultant and it's well worth the $6 extra dollars no messy bottle no longer.. Thanx again Clinique"

Pleasant feel

Pros: good coverage with a light feel

"I used Clinique Soft Finish makeup for years and was disappointed when it was no longer available. After reading reviews I selected this product and I am extremely satisfied. It has better coverage than the soft finish with a light feel on your skin. At other reviewers suggestion, I chose the alabaster shade; it works great with my somewhat rudy complexion and gray hair (I'm in my 60's). This is definitely my new favorite."

Pros: long lasting, non drying, great coverage

"I is what it says! It doesn't dry out my nose area (which is super dry) but it doesn't make my face oily in other spots. It balances out and lasts forever!"

Bought the new pump for this!

Pros: covers well, no spf, lasts all day and night, applies well

Cons: pump is not included must be purchased separately

"I was so glad to find out that there is now a pump available to buy for this bottle.I ran out and bought it right away.It makes it so much easier now for use.This foundation feels nice and lasts all day and night.It applies and covers very well.I like that there is no spf because,I usually do not spend time in the sun so,I do not need it but,if I do need spf I can just wear some underneath this foundation whenever I need it.This is my first Clinique foundation and I am very happy with it and will continue purchasing!"

Awesome Product

"I have used this superbalanced makeup for years. And even though I am 52 I do not look my age. I constantly get told that I look younger. It goes on smooth and wears well all day long. I put it on in the morning and no touch ups during the day. This is really the way to go. :)"

Great Product!

Pros: light weight, excellent coverage, does not get cakey or oily, longlasting wear

Cons: no pump on glass bottle, consistency is think and hard to get out of bottle

"I've been using this foundation for a little over a week now and I am very satisfied with it. It goes on smoothly, blends in nicely and lasts all day. A little goes a long way. It does not get cakey and I barely need to touch up all day. It has great coverage yet looks so natural and comes in a large range of colours."

Pros: covers well., color is good

Cons: just sit on my face, feels heavy

"When Clinique stopped offering their 'Balanced' make-up, I tried Superbalanced, It seems much heavier on my face than the Balanced. I have been using it, but not really thrilled with it. It just seems to sit on my face. I use a damp sponge to apply my make-up, so I don't think I am using too much. I just saw a review in a magazine for 'repairwear laser focus', so I bought that and used it for the first time today. I think this is the one I will continue to use from now on.It isn't 'Balanced' but it is close."

"I'm 56 and have been using the Perfectly Fit makeup. It's been settling into the lines & was cakey by the end of the day. Went to the counter today and got a sample of Superbalanced. It's lovely on and does not show up the lines or wrinkles! It's very natural looking on ~ just looks like you have perfect skin! Love this so much I ordered a bottle on line but don't think I can wait ~ now that I've tried it, I don't think I can go back to the other formula. I can't believe I'm this excited over a makeup product but I just love the results!"

Pros: great go to base

"I have been wearing Clinique for over 35 years and have alot of their foundations. I tried the Redness foundation but I am very fair and it made me orange. I came back the my first foundation Superbalanced Makeup and its wonderful. It makes your skin look so natural and works great for the oily and dry areas and covers well."

Love this color

"I am 59 yrs old and have used Clinique makeup for 30 yrs. I have noticed that as I age the fair color made me look pink and the cream color made me look yellow. I read a review on your website that had this same problem and suggested alabaster and I did and it is perfect. Thanks so much whoever wrote that. I Love it!!"

Pros: smooth creamy does not cause breakouts

"When I was 13 and beginning to become interested in make-up my mom took me to Clinique to ensure I was using the correct products with the correct application. The consultant got me in the superbalanced foundation in the alabaster color. I am now 31 years old and still using superbalanced in alabaster. Over the years I have experimented with other foundations both cheap and higher quality and I always come back to the superbalanced. The only downside is that I am noticing as I get older and gaining more lines around my eyes the foundation does cake in the lines a little. I just apply less around my eyes now. It is very smooth and creamy and feels so wonderful on my skin. I always set it with a loose powder and as long as I do not touch my face the make-up will last all day."

Cons: no pump on bottle.

"This is one of the nicest foundations that I have ever used. I have battled with my skin for years trying to find the right foundation to use on it. I am 50 years old and going through menopause. I always had oily skin, but now I noticed that it was drying in areas, while still breaking out in others. This makeup is light and soothing and a great balance for my combination skin. It isn't oily at all, although it keeps my skin feeling soft and moist without being oily. The finish is beautiful and natural too and it looks great. I still need a little concealer if I have a blemish, but there are far fewer problems with my skin since I began using it. I am very happy with the overall results and will continue to use it.

The only 'con' I have is perhaps to make this in a pump bottle. I believe that the pump system stays cleaner and makes the product easier to use. Other than that - it is a great foundation!"

Perfect for my pink skin tone

Pros: wide range of colors

"I have a whole lot of pink in my fair skin tone, so much so that I have real trouble finding foundations that don't turn yellow on me. However, I was able to find a perfect match for my skin tone in Alabaster. As a bonus, my skin looks flawless, but not heavily made up. I don't have that heavy makeup feeling, and my skin feels nice and moist, without being greasy. Superbalanced foundation will remain my go-to for years to come."

"Plenty of colors to choose from! The finish is natural and almost dewwy on my skin, which I like. I use stay matte invisible to set it. The color lasts longer than some of the other clinique foundations I've tried."

A little goes a LONG way!

Pros: shine free, long lasting, matte, great for combo to oily skin

"This is a GREAT product! I used moisture surge for the summer due to dry skin, but now I'm having oil issues. My fabulous Clinique consultant gave me this to try. I LOVE IT! No more shine on my nose! To those who says it greasy and slides around when you put it on.... my consultant warned me to use it sparingly! Use much less than you do of their other foundations. It's best if put on with a brush or sponge, not fingers. I use the Clinique foundation brush this foundation goes on like a charm. Best thing, since you use less, the bottle lasts even longer!"

Cons: will eventually be hard to get out of the bottle.

"Switched from Moisture Surge makeup to this one for the winter. I have combination skin. It's true that the texture is pretty liquid and slightly slimy. But I found it very easy to apply and blend, and once I was done my face did not look oily. It's more matte than the dewy finish Moisture Surge gives. I worked long shifts in a restaurant while wearing this make-up and it lasted very well, the slight redness on my cheeks still wasn't visible at the end of the day (I applied a tiny bit of powder on top and I'm not the type to touch my face often). Didn't feel too heavy or cakey either. I don't know about it balancing my skin out but I do like the colour and coverage of it: It doesn't take much to cover an area well. Although I can't say how it will behave on very hot days, it's perfect for the present season."

Awesome foundation

Cons: color doesn't match up online versus in person

"This foundation is great! I would recommend going to the Clinique counter at your mall or where ever. Some of the other reviews have said that this make up is really heavy but I really didn't think so. I think it depends on your skin type because the Clinique sales lady told me this would be the best for my skin and I really think it is. :) I would also go to the Clinique counter to get matched for your color because the online color isn't really true."

Cons: greasy, not matte

"After using Perfectly Real I decided to try Superbalance because I was getting a shinny after a few hours. I was not expecting SB to be 10 times worse. It is like smearing Crico on your face. Very greasey and does not dry. I felt like my makeup was sliding off my face."

Pros: balances skin

Cons: not long wearing, bad coverage

"The makeup does balance my skin. I have oily in t-zone, and very dry on my jawline. This makeup does balance that out for me, but the coverage is horrible. It only looks good if I don't have any blemishes to cover (which is never). It also does not last long. By the end of the day, its like i'm wearing nothing. Also, they just didn't have the right shade for me, I'm in between. I guess I'll try perfectly real next time."
