"I have tried everything for my rosacea, this product cleans and comforts, soothes. I am older and do use a moisturizer after, but my skin is combo oily, and I could see where it wouldn't even be necessary. It must have been in one of the gift bags, I have been using it now for about three years. Highly recommend it!"

Super Soft Skin!

"I couldn't believe that this scrub leaves my face just as soft as my clairisonic (if not softer!) After using your face will feel soft and clean. It is not too drying for dry skin. I have oily skin and am prone to adult acne, this has improved my skin. I usually use the 3-step cleanser but I use the 7 day scrub a few times a week in place of the face wash, however you could use it everyday!"

Wow what a difference this scrub did for my skin

"I recently noticed at 45 my skin looked dull and dingy looking so I was in the mall and stopped at the clinique counter and asked the girl what could I use and she recommended this scrub, clarifying lotion and moisture, and since I've been using all 3 steps I've seen a huge difference, I used to not go out of the house without foundation, now that I've been using these products I can just wear makeup without foundation and my skin looks healthy and claan.

"I started using this after my cleanser ran out....have not looked back. It exfoliates so my skin is smooth, and i have not been breaking out! The best thing is that i dont even need to use a moisturizer. Realized all this by accident and i didnt even bother buying my regular cleanser. One step wash and go!"

"This scrub is a staple in my medicine cabinet. I've been using it since I was 15. It does a nice job exfoliating without stripping my skin. My mom has been using this probably as long as they've been making it and at 60 her skin looks great."

Pros: gentle, non-drying, can be used every day if desired.

Cons: pricey

"I started using this scrub about a year ago and I am very pleased with it. I have a tendency to break-out easily, so I am extra careful with anything I put on my face, but this one is gentle, effective and leaves my skin smooth and feeling clean.

I do have oily skin and don't use it 7 days a week, maybe every other day, and only at night when my skin is at its oilest.

I highly recommend this scrub for people with similar concerns. Great product!"

"I recently met a woman with the most amazing skin, and I asked her what her secret was. She said she never goes more than 3 days without using this product. I ran to the store to get some, and I have to say, after a week, this is the most incredible product ever.

Just a dab, and it is enough. My face feels smooth, clean, and ready for the day. I have noticed a reduction in blackheads (a chronic problem with no solution) and my skin looks so much brighter and better."

"I have received samples of this product during the bonus times at Clinique and I just love it! My face gets oily sometimes because it is too dry and it can make me break-out. I had tried other exfoliators before, but although my skin felt smoother at first, they tended to dry out my skin which caused my face to produce a TON of oil. Not fun.

I tried this scrub and it was just great! It takes off dead skin, leaving my face so soft and feeling so fresh! Best of all, it does dry my face out! I can use it 7 days a week if I want, just like it says. After my samples run out I am always disappointed. I am planning on buying this product at younkers since they are having their gift with purchase right now!"

Better for Dry Skin

"I used this for a few days but did not like it at all. It left a film feeling on my face after using it. I gave it 4 stars because I know this would be a great product for dry skins but not for oily skins. I switched over to the Gentle Exfoliator and it was so much better for my skin type."

"I was using this as my daily face wash until I started using the 3 Step System, and then I used it as my 2-3 day exfoliating scrub.

After using it my face would feel very comfortable, not dry and tight.
I'm only not using it now because I found out I'm a different skin type."

Great product but pricey

"I have gotten samples of this twice. One was a very tiny sample-sized tube and the other was what I thought was a large sample size but it actually might be full sized! If that tiny tube is full sized (it is about 3.4 oz which is what is sold here for $18.50) it is very expensive.

But it really is a great product and I suppose it does last longer than you would expect from such a small tube.

I've tried lots of exfoliants for both my face and body, and some can clog your pores, some don't scrub away anything at all, some dry out the skin, some are quite greasy (which is fine for the body because no lotion is needed but not good for the face) and then some, like this one, are just perfect. Not too drying and not too greasy.

I also have some redness issues, which some scrubs exacerbate, but this does not. I can use it the full 7 days just as the label suggests without any sensitivity issues whatsoever.

I want to get more but I don't want to pay for it (money is tight!). What a dilemma!"

"My skin had become dull looking for the first time in my life. I am 48 and have always been told I have great skin. Well, I didn't feel that way lately ... I had strayed from Clinique and had been using a different, more expensive line, but decided to return to Clinique. After using this product for five days, the improvement in my skin is absolutely amazing. I have been using it each morning before the three step. "I got the sample for this product when i bought the even better clinical spot treatment. I am absolutely in love with it. Its AMAZING, i use it every morning as soon as i wake up. My skin looks so radiant and healthy after i exfoliate it with this. It does leave the skin over dried or tight, it leaves the skin feeling soft and not oily. I have sensitive oily acne prone skin and this works wonders on my skin! I cant wait for my sample to finish so i can buy the full size one."

Seven Day Scrub

Cons: difficult to rinse off or remove with tissue

"I have been using the Seven day scrub rinse off formula whenever I received the Clinique bonus.
I find that the cream is very difficult to remove whether I rinse it off or use a kleenex.
Secondly, this formula is more suitable for those who have dry or sensitive skin than combination or oily.
Prefer to stick with the exfloliating scrub over this one."
