"Butter Shine is certainly an appropriate name. It goes on like butter and makes your lips feel terrific. I typically use it in the summer when I want a lighter texture and more shine. I love the Delovely and want to try the Ambrosia this year. Because they're so soft they do tend to mush down in the container. Don't apply too much pressure."

Pros: shiny, flattering for pale skin

Cons: wears off quickly

"purchased in "ambrosia" on a whim-- i don't normally buy such a bold orangey shade but i wanted something different for spring. i am SO glad i did. it goes on shiny like a gloss but more opaque-- buildable for more coverage. it is definitely a flattering pinky peach on, instead of orange like it looks in the tube. very peaches-n-cream on me -- i have fair skin, blue eyes, and dyed reddish brown hair. the reason i gave only 4 stars is it wears off so quickly and does not leave any hint of color... but i am happy to reapply this beauty. now i want to try the other colors!"

"wow! this lipstick is amazing im one for using lip glosses but wanted something different for my wedding the clinique lady recommended me to the pink goddess. it was love at first touch, goes on smooth and has an intense gloss so you dont have to put on alot or extra gloss to make your lips shiny and moist . it lasted me about 3hours"

"this butter shine lipstick goes on smoothly, is more than a lip gloss, but not as matte as a regular lipstick..color (Chocolate Ice) is a nice, middle of the road color..i've been using Clinique products for over 25 years, and they always deliver! This lipstick goes on great and has a pretty good staying power,without that dry feeling...would definitely recommend it!"

"I love clinique's lipsticks! With my red hair and skin color I have a hard time finding colors that look good. I always have success with clinique and I'm not wasting any more $ on other brands. "I love this lipstick. I bought it yesterday in the shade pinkaboo and the color is so bright an beautiful. The color fits perfectly with my blond hair and fair skin. The lipstick is very soft, a bit like a labello stick, and moist and applies easily. Love it!
The lipstick does not last for hours though."
