"I've been using Clinique products for many years and this is the very first one that I wasn't satisfied with. I bought the Stay Matte eyeshadow in Stone Violet and when I went to apply it the color seemed to come out lighter than it looked in the package that it came in. It wasn't very easy to blend and it isn't long before the color fades and has to be re-applied. Clinique also has a line of shimmery eyeshadows that I do like so I will continue to use those but I won't be buying this particular product again."

"This is a beautiful slate gray and its dark, but thats what I wanted. The only thing is that in the discription it says that it has a hint of brown. Its doesn't. Its only gray, but still very beautiful."

"I tried this colour for the first time. I was hesitant about choosing an eyeshadow colour online at first, but figured that the other clinique colors I've been using were great. The colour surge goes on smooth and and stays rich exactly as promised. I have brown eyes, olive skin, and dark hair so I chose chocolate chip and it's great for adding just a little daytime drama."

"I recently got this eyeshadow in Chocolate Chip as a gift at Clinique Bonus Time at the department store. I love how silky this eyeshadow is. It goes on very smooth and very little product is needed so once you have a pan of this eyeshadow you're good to go for a while. The color stays put for the whole day and it doesn't crease on me. The colors that it comes in are very nice and if some additional lighter shades would come out it would be a good thing. I really love the product and I definitely recommend it."

Great eye shadow

Pros: lasts all day., true to color

Cons: settles in the crease of your eye

"I love this eye shadow. I didn't think it was too dark at all. I use the chocolate chip. You don't need a lot to get the results you want and I smooth it over with my finger tips. It does last most of the day. What I do notice is that for oily skin it will settle in the crease of your eye after about 5 hours but that's easy to work with. I just smooth it again with my finger tips."
