"I am 49 years old and have had a problem finding a liner that LASTS, DOESN'T SMEAR OFF and DOESN'T END UP UNDER MY EYES... This liner does it ALL. It is EASY TO APPLY, WASHES OFF WITH SOAP AND WATER...and stays on all day until I take it off. Needless to say...THIS IS THE BEST!!"

Pros: waterproof

Cons: flakes off

"I have lots of allergies so tried Clinique. I wanted the waterproof formula. I have noticed that after a while, it starts to flake off. It is great in the water and at the beginning of the day but not for all day use. Also, it has been harder for me to apply this wet cream evenly."

"I recently bought the Black Honey Cream Liner and absolutely love it! I usually use pencil liners and wanted to try something new. The Cream Liner is now my new go to liner! I have a better time adjusting the thickness/thinness of the line with the brush than I do with most pencils. The only thing that would make it better is having more colors!!! I would love to see this product in blues and plums. Also, having a smudge sponge for smokier looks would be nice, instead of having to use my finger to smudge."

BEST Eyeliner Ever

"I was confused on what eyeliner in a pot was at first and was hesitant to purchase this item. However, it is one of the best switches I have ever made! It allows for control like a pencil but also the dark line of liquid eyeliner. Liquid eyeliner looks fake. This does not.

I like the brush. I think the trick is to take a little bit and dab off on a tissue and then pick up some more "liner" as you add to your lids. Unlike the pencil liner, it does not tug at your eyelids at all and goes on so smoothly!

I can't believe I just discovered this product. I wish I had not wasted my time with all the other liner products. Now I have liquid eyeliners that I don't know what to do with."

"I love trying different Clinique products and this liner is great. Easy to use although I've already lost the brush so I'm using my own slanted brush which works fine. Goes on smooth, no dragging like with a pencil and has buildable, correctable, smudgeable color that's pretty much idiot proof (perfect for chicks like me!) What more can we ask for in a liner?"

"I do like this product it is true to the description; long wearing and waterproof. I for some reason thought it would be easy to apply on top lid but not so much or I just do not apply very well on top which could most definitely be the case. It's just hard to control (on top lid at least) with the creaminess. But as always Clinique delivered and I just love their products!!"

"Stays in place all day, no smearing. Works best if you dab a bit on your hand, or the container lid, so you don't get too much on the brush. Need to work fast before it dries. Brush is very tiny, a longer handle (with cap) would be nice."

"I got this in Smoke Grey since black eyeliner has the effect of looking fake, even on an Asian like me. I've always had a problem with smudging and smearing, and this has answered my call for a long-wearing eyeliner. I opted to use the Eye Contour Brush to more easily create the smokey eye effect."

"The application is smooth, the color is great, and the jar is cute. But...something about the brush they send with it, keeps me from giving it a 5. I wish it was more portable or don't give me a brush at all and lower the price. Either or. Because this brush is bound to get lost in transit as it doesn't have a case, or at home as it is to tiny to keep in any of my makeup brush holders."

"Nice dark brown color. The cream and the brush were relatively easy to work with but once done what do you do with the brush that now has brown residue on it. I felt a pencil was easier to control and store so I returned this."

"Purchased this today in the Smoke Grey and Love it! It applies so smooth with no pulling on the eyelid. The included brush is small but ok, I also tried a slanted brush and that worked well too. I used one coat for a light effect but it is buildable for a deeper color. It is long wearing, and easy to remove with make up remover. I think I will purchase the brown next. Thank you Clinique."

"I have tried other brands of cream liners before and always abandoned using them because I wasn't happy with the results - - however... I love Clinique's Brush-On Cream Liner! I ordered it in the Smokey Grey and use Clinique's Angled Eye Definer Brush to apply it. It's easy to apply (even for a novice like me) and really lasts all day without smudging - even after working in the yard! I am also considering ordering it in the new Black Honey color so I have a little variety. Great product!"
