"I've tried absolutely everything to try to clear up my skin. The older I got the worse my skin seem to get.(pimples were turning into cyst and I had blackheads throughout) Fed up, I was concidering acne medication. I overheard someone talking about how fantastic Clinique's acne solution makeup was one day, and that it even helped clear up your skin the more you wore it.(I actually tried the makeup before the 3 step process) I fell in love!!!!! I will never try any other product besides Clinique. I'm so impressed with these products. My skin is so clear, I've never been able to walk around without makeup and have BEAUTIFUL skin, but now after 8 months of use I do. I don't worry about the next pimple, because now I don't have to. My skin at 30 looks better than it did when I was 20. NO JOKE! (It even improved the old acne scars, they're gone now also)"

"This is the best acne wash for sensitive skin and I have tried them all (except Proactiv). I find that 2-3 pumps are too drying so I only use one twice a day. It works better than prescription medications that I've been on. No more cystic acne! I highly recommended this. It's well worth the cost."

Pros: dry's out pimpes fast

"I started using this product about two months ago, it took away my pimples fast and easily, but as soon as I stopped using it consistently my pimples reappeared. I feel like my skin is addicted to it now. Another thing, yes my bumps are gone but the red marks left by my pimples are still there so now I have to use all types of concealers to make my skin look as though its all the same tone."

"I tried using at least 3 other products before my mom had a friend recommend Clinique to her. Some of them just didn't worked or worked for one week, my skin got use to it, and then it stopped working. After using this once I could feel the difference on my skin. It was like it could breathe and felt really soft. When my skin got use to Clinique it still worked. I don't get blemishes half as much as I use to before Clinique. Although now I use the bar over the foam and it works just as well. This is a great product and I like the foam, but it runs out too fast for me."

"I fell in love with this product after my mom recommended it to me around a year ago. I always had breakout problems especially when I lose sleep and this foam literally saved my skin! "Does what it says, keeps face clear. My problem is that it does not lather or foam up. It also does not last all that long. After trying the bar in this product, I can tell a huge difference ! I am switching from this product to the bar soap. Last longer, cheaper, foams and lathers up very nicely ! I just feel like this foam pump does not clean my face as well as the other."

"While I have lived my life with ridiculously oily skin, I have only recently developed "problem skin". By this I mean breaking out several times a month, usually with 3 or more pimples on my face at any given time. I have tried EVERYTHING for acne problems, both OTC and prescription products. I was about a week away from taking sandpaper to my face to rid myself of the acne. Then I discovered Clinique's Acne Solutions System. Within a month the acne and even most of the redness and scarring had begun to heal. That was about a year ago and I have been using this system twice daily ever since. On more than one occasion I actually have had people come up to me on the street and tell me how clear my skin is and it brings tears to my eyes. This would not have been possible without Clinique's Acne Solutions. Now I feel confident enough to actually (gasp) leave the house without makeup. What I love so much about this product is that it works hard to rid your skin of the acne but it is not even half as harsh as anything else I have tried. I feel tingling when I use the foam but not the burning that is present with so many other acne products. Bravo, Clinique, and please please keep up the great work with your acne system!"

Pros: it works!

"I have been a faithful Clinique user for many years and had been using the 3-Step for Combination/Dry Skin. I always seemed to have blemish or two each month, but no big deal. Earlier this summer I decided to switch to some organic facial cleanser as I was eating organic and thought that would be best for my skin. Well, by Labor Day I had about 15 pimples on my face and by the end of October, after really no improvement, I decided I needed to do something about this. I did pray about it as it was really bothersome to me. I mean I'm now 42, so who needs pimples plus my fine lines ;-) Anyway, right after that I felt led to check out the Clinique website to see what they offered for acne, saw this Acne Solutions line, ordered the trial kit and it began to clear my face immediately. I was so happy I almost cried! It's been almost 2 months now, and I have had just an occasional blemish here & there, but 1 at time, as opposed to 15 and they heal very quickly. My favorite is this cleansing foam and also the 2nd step clarifying lotion. The 3rd step moisturizing lotion is very drying for my skin, so I use the dramatically different gel daily and use the acne lotion just on an actual blemish if I have one. I just want to say thank you to Clinique from the bottom of my heart for putting out quality products that really help people to look their best. In this world of air-brushed advertising, one can really feel unworthy when they struggle with skin problems. So God bless you & may you have continued success in the New Year!"

"I started out using the acne cleansing foam and i liked it but after I ran out decided to try the acne bar soap cause it was cheaper and it lasted longer, also MY FACE FELT MUCH CLEANER AFTER USING THE BAR SOAP! Also when you buy the bar soap it comes with a soap dish every time you purchase it. If you like the foam i defintly recomend at least trying the bar."

"This face wash is wonderful! I'm using this as part of the 3-step acne solutions system. I started using this less than 2 weeks ago and I already have started to see a difference in my overall complexion. This foaming cleanser is very gentle and mild, which I love because I do have sensitive skin. Another good thing to know, I was told by a nice girl at the Clinique counter that this cleansing foam also acts as a makeup remover!"

"Over the years I have tried everything under the sun for facial cleansing products, and while some work better then others, my skin is still oily with giant pores. I was also trying to go the cheap way and only spent like $5 for drug store brand face washes. Well, there's a reason I'm not satisfied with cheap drug store brands.
I decided to try Clinique's 3 step acne solutions. My skin is softer, smoother and less oily. I was a little worried about how well it would cleanse since I usually prefer not to use foams as I don't feel they cleanse as well as scrubs, but this product does an excellent job and my skin feels clean. I think if it were a scrub it would be way to harsh. But I still use an exfoliater once or twice a week.
Some people complained that the acne solutions regiment dried out their skin. I haven't had that problem. But I also only use it once a day in the shower, and at night use a cleansing cloth to wipe off the the day/my make up. My skin has been noticeably cleaner, brighter and acne free!"

Pros: it works!, not expensive

"I had a horrible breakout at the start of the year. A large portion of my face was covered in acne. I've never had a break out like that before. I tried another product but it didn’t help. This started to clear my skin up after a few days. About two months later, my face was completely clear. Now I only get one or two bumps around my period. Other than that, I do not have to worry about waking up to a pimple.

Only issue, it took some time for my face to get used to the product. I use the entire acne system and my skin would peel at times. I was washing it in the am and pm, but too close together. So I made sure to keep about 10-12 hours between my am and pm wash."
