Bring Back The Brown Eye Defining Liquid Liner

"I have used this product for years but unless the dark brown is brought back, I will be shopping for another eyeliner. Black is too dark and harsh for someone my age.
Hopefully someone at the company reads these comments as I see others feel the same way. Will NOT order this product in black."

Pros: none!

"first of all, I hate the black eyeliner....i always used brown! What happened? the black I ordered was nearly dried up in the tube....I think it was old! I had to throw it away....I won't be buying this product anymore from Clinique! Bring back the brown!"

Cons: no longer available in the brown

"This is a really great product. I have used it for several years. It applies easily, does not flake and is not harsh.
BUT, I have been using the BROWN! Why, Why did you discontinue the BROWN? It is such a great shade for me and apparently, as I see from many reviews, for many other people. I will not be purchasing the black because it is too dark and harsh for my coloring.
PLEASE, PLEASE BRING BACK THE BROWN 03."

Don't buy this eye liner

Cons: hard to apply, very little product in tube

"I was very disapointed with this eye liner. I have used it previously and loved it but the one I ordered online recently seemed like it was very old. There is hardly any product in the tube and what is in there goops at the top of the tube. This is exactly how my old eye liner was after a year of use. It's frustating to spend $15.00 on eye liner for it to be this bad. Now I see why it was discontinued in the stores."

Cons: small quantity of product in tube, transparent, non-defining

"Horrible! Horrible! Is there even ANY liquid in the tube? I LOVE Clinique products and even after reading the reviews decided to give the eyeliner a try. My eyes have been sensitive lately and other brands have been bothering me. I can't even use this as it doesn't show at all!!! It is transparent.. No definition whatsoever! This should be removed from the line and customers refunded their $$ with an apology. Stick with the other Clinique products…but do yourself a favor and skip past this one!"

Cons: they discontinued my color

"This is a great product. Easy to use. Neat. Doesn't spill. Brush is just the right size and texture. I've used it for years. Now I'm looking for a substitute because the brown color I love has been discontinued and black is too harsh for my complexion."

Cons: expnesive, doesn't work, hard to use

"I bought this product for the first time so hopeful, since I've been using liquid eyeliners forever and thought Clinique's would be even better. It certainly costs much more than other brands.
This eyeliner is not 'eye defining' it's soooo mild it takes about 5 coatings to even make the eye visible .... I couldn't believe it.
Also, in your description you should mention it's NOT BRUSH TIPPED ....
I'm extremely disappointed, this eyeliner is a fraud and very unfarily priced."

"I have used this liner for many years because it is easy to apply and stays on all day without smudging. I was so disappointed to find I could no longer get it in brown which is the only shade that looks good on me. Black is too harsh and I found the cream liner too hard to apply. So I am searching for another brown liquid liner. Clinique is my favorite brand and I hate going to another brand but will have to if I want brown liquid liner. I would still highly recommend this to friends who like black."

Cons: hate that the liquid liner is only in black.

"I have used the liquid dark brown eye liner for years and I am forced to use the cream liner which does not go on as well as the liquid. Please give me back the liquid liner in dark brown. I am very fair skinned and the black is way too harsh looking for my skin tone. I don't like the gothic look."

"Last all day and washes off easily leaving eyes fresh and not irritated! I recommend this over any liquid eye liner or cream out there, and believe me I have tried many different kinds and brands! This product Rocks!"

"WHY don't you sell this product in brown? I mix your black with another major brand. I will be moving away from Clinique. You are not customer friendly.

The Liner was very dry and took some time in brushing and watering to render it useful."

"I love this liner have had my old one for several years. My only wish is that it come in Drk Brn or Navy for colors. I used the Drk Brn and it was the right color. The Black is a bit severe for me, but the product is perfect. I can't take perfumes in make-up so this is all I buy. Thanks, but please rethink BLACK only."

Pros: it goes on smooth and you can get a fine line

Cons: it easily smudges, the whole product doesn't last very long

"I have always preferred the liquid product but it seems different this time, the brush is a lot stiffer and doesn't seem to flow on the eye as easy as it has in the past so I was a little disappointed in the change"
