Pros: long lasting

"I recieved this perfume as a sample. I wore it for about an hour before realizing that I absolutly love it! I think that it calms down a little after it's on. It is a very strong perfume so only one spray is good for me. It does not wear off at all by the end of the day. Very different scent!"

"i, too, like chloe below have been a devoted fan of 'aromatics' for decades. addicted to the fragrance and wish i had a buck for every time asked 'what are you wearing' ~ i.ll walk thru an aromatics air.spritz in the a.m. getting ready for work and amazingly, 8 hours later, on subway ride home, be asked what is that scent you.re wearing please (men more often than women)
but, also like chloe below, i, too miss the aromatics body powder (pssst... any clinique marketing execs listening out there...?!) and continue to hope it will be re.produced at some point...."

"I was given Aromatics Elixir as a birthday gift over 20+ years ago. From the minute I tried it I was hooked and became a fan for life.
This is one of the most unique, interesting and intriguing fragrances ever. I've gotten more compliments when wearing Aromatics Elixer than any other scent. I love layering it so I use the body wash, the body smoother and/or body cream and the scent lasts into the next day. I had the pleasure of purchasing a body powder years ago and I wish Clinique would offer it again as it would be the perfect compliment and finishing touch to the entire Aromatics line."

"Like many other reviewers, I've worn nothing but Aromatics Elixir since its introduction 40 years ago. There's nothing even close! It's an assertive, distinctive scent that does change depending on who wears it, so if you're thinking about it, I suggest testing it first to make sure you like it. For me, it was love at first spritz, and I've never looked back. It's now such a fundamental part of me that I (and my friends and family) can't imagine I'd wear anything else. A gorgeous, spicy, heady scent that I absolutely and completely adore."

"I've worn this off and on for years, and I always find myself coming back to it. Stays on all day, and as many compliments as I get while wearing it, it's the happy feeling it gives me when I smell it on myself. NO other perfume does that. Wonderful Fragrance

"WOW! when you wear this fragrance you will get compliments all day. It has a very distinctive scent and I have tried many other fragrances but this is now my one and only. The scent lasts all day and no matter where you are someone will ask what is that wonderful perfume you are wearing.I have been using it for many, many years. When you wear it you feel very feminine. "I have worn this since day one,(38 Years) this and nothing else. I have had men stop me and ask what I was wearing, hugs last just a bit longer, and are lots closer. I'm not a shapely kid so it must be the stinky as my grandson calls it. I'll stick with what I know works."

"I am 58 years old and I have being wearing this fragrance since I was in my thirties.. Everytime I wear Elixir some one will say WOW your perfume smells sooo good.. and they want to know the name and where they can buy it... Elixir is me.. I have no desire to change.. I love the smell that remains on my bedding, etc... I like to buy the gift set that is usually available during the holiday season .. should be available all year.. Aromatic Intrigue gift set is the name but you will have to call a rep. to order.. Love Love Love It....."
