I was so impressed with the sample I went back and bought the face wash and then the other 2 steps in the 3 step process to give it a try. Little too harsh

"I bought this product in December and it proved to be too harsh for winter. What can I say, I've got a baby face. It dried me up pretty quickly. Used it for 2 weeks and now it's sitting on the shelf.

On the positive side, it's fragrance free and I really like that. If there is an extra-mild product someday, maybe I'll try it."

Love Liquid Face Wash

"I love the Liquid Face Wash over the bar when I am shaving as I feel it gets my beard cleaner and ready to shave. First I use the Face Scrub, then the Liquid Face Wash then the Aloe Shave Gel and I get the closest and best shave ever."

"Clinique's liquid face wash is excellent. I've tried 5-10 different drug store cleansers and all of them were ok at best.

After trying the Clinique face wash for the first time I noticed my skin felt much more clean. It's nice to know that a product is working for sure, rather than hoping."

Good product, bad packaging

Cons: bad packaging-too large for airline carry on, expensive

"I've been using Clinique for many years and am happy with the product, however, the packaging has not kept up with airline regulations. The face wash, the shaving cream (cream shave) are only sold in sizes too large for carry on travel 3.4oz. Thus, You either can't travel with them or they are confiscated."

"this is by far the best face wash i have ever used!i have oily skin and i use the extra strength!i love the freshness that the menthol leaves on my face! the only problem that came up was that the last two tubes that i bought made a hole on the same spot right up the letter C and they weren't even exposed on high temperature or daylight!i will buy a new tube and if that happens again i will switch to another product!"

Pros: what the bottle says is true!

"The first day I used this face wash. Immediately, my face began to feel the freshness and tingling sensation. After massaging my face with this product, my face became smooth and the fact it made my face feel clean. Literally, really clean! This is the first feeling I've ever had with a face wash in my life. It put an extreme smile on my face, knowing that this product will be in my life for a very long time. Like what the description says "The first step to great skin," so true!"

"I just purchased this product for my husband who has always used body soap on his face! He never wanted to use anything else..stubborn fireman!
He just turned 40 & wants to start taking better care of his skin (funny how 40 will do that!). He asked me to try Clinique's men's skin care line. He just used this liquid face wash & loves it! Says he won't go back to using his body soap on his face again! He now follows with the M Lotion & I have already noticed an improvement in his skin's appearance after 1 week!

"I'm writing this from my husband's point of view and his skin type. Because of my great success with Clinique products, about 7 weeks my husband agreed to try a few items in the men's line. He uses this Liquid Face Wash every morning and evening. In the a.m., he uses the Face Scrub first, this Liquid Face Wash, the Scruffing Lotion, and M Protect SPF 21. In the p.m., he uses this Liquid Face Wash, the Scruffing Lotion, and the M Lotion. What he really likes about this Liquid Face Wash as that a very little bit goes a long way, how well it lathers, and how well it cleans his skin. He would definitely recommend it!"

"I find that it takes only a little bit of this and it goes a long way. I keep my bottle in the shower and I fill refreshed every time I use it. Compared to ordinary soap, this is much better as I don't feel as dried out or have clogged pores."
