"I'm in my late 30's and honestly wouldn't have ever purchased this type of gloss because I thought it was more for younger people. Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss is the best lip gloss ever!! I received Current in a sample size and that is how I was introduced. I LOVE IT! Then I wanted to try another color. I didn't love rootbeer when I saw it in the tube but figured I'd give it a try anyway. So happy I did. I'm an almond color African American and it is a beautiful natural color on me. I especially love it when I have dramatic eyes. LOVE LOVE LOVE this lip gloss!"

"I got a sample size of this in a free gift at a department store, and I've replaced it once already! I consider it worth the money. The "Raspberry" color is my favorite, it looks good on my "clear" complexion days (no redness/irritants) with simple eye makeup."

"I bought this gloss in mango color and after some time it started to stink big time and before using it, just while pressing, some liquid would come before the gloss itself. Definitely not a must-have. I'm much happier with my chubby stick."

Great lipgloss

Pros: moisturizing, not sticky, nice color

"So far I've tried two colors (grapefruit and currant) and I love them both! The color isn't super pigmented but gives your lips just enough tint and LOTS of shine! Both colors I've tried also look very natural and flattering. This gloss is very thick but not sticky and makes your lips feel sooo moisturized! And as with most Clinique products, a little goes a long way :)"

Sticky and smells

"I tried this product because of the great reviews. But I found it very sticky, and would form a gunky line on my lips after a while. Also, about 3 weeks after buying it, it developed a horrible mildew smell! And I only ever kept it in my purse. I could not wear it anymore and threw it away."

"I never get dry or chapped lips when I wear this lip balm! I used to always have dry lips that would frequently peel. I had tried many lip products but none compared to Super Balm! The colors are all beautifully sheer and can be worn by anyone. My lips are soft & healthy and this lip balm feels smooth and never sticky."

"I'm not a heavy makeup wearer. On a daily basis, I use little to none lipstick, but would love to use lip gloss instead. I've tried so many over the years that smear and are sticky.

Once I tried this gloss, I fell in love. It doesn't dry or smear my lips or have that sticky feeling to it. Its stays on for hours! Who knew a lip gloss can do that!

This is now my everyday lip regime. Everyone needs to try it."

"I had a sample in Raspberry and the tube started to smell like a mildewy sponge. I figured I needed to buy a new full size tube. Shortly after using the new tube, the smell returned! I am very disappointed. I have other glosses and they don't smell even when I have not used them in a while. I tried cleaning the top with rubbing alcohol a few times...nothing has gotten rid of the smell. I feel like I'm putting mildew on my lips."

Cons: a bit sticky

"Sticky when applied, and like most lip glosses I find myself picking hair off my glossed lips in the slightest breeze. But the colors are subtle, and the shine is tremendous. I already have big lips, so I try to spread this stuff around instead of adding more product, or my lips look like they come with an air pump! :)"

Great lip balm

"I love the samples I have received over the years. They leave my lips softened and it really is a great lip balm. I love that it doesn't have a scent too. However, I recently purchased a full size of this product and was disappointed in the size of the applicator end. It's bigger and much harder to apply within my narrow lips. I prefer the size of the applicator end that comes with the free samples. If they could change that one thing it would easily be worth 5 stars."
