"People are always saying that this product is awesome and stuff, but at first I didn't believe them. I got a free Clinique consultation at a nearby mall. Immediately after the really nice consultant did all 3 steps, my skin felt smoother, so I bought this set. I don't regret it at all!! In fact, I feel like I just bought warranty for my skin. :)

Simple and effective

Pros: simple, non-drying non-irritating

"The only reason I gave it a shot was because I had a sample 3 step (oily skin) that was given to me. I had what looked like the Ring of Fire erupt on the left side of my face, and I decided to use my samples instead of running to the store to find a remedy. Four days later, my breakout was practically gone without the slash and burn technique of other acne systems. I still have my samples (a little goes a long way), but I will be buying the full size system which I imagine will keep my skin happy for a good while."

Pros: it works... a little bit goes a long way.

"3- Step kit with liquid facial soap- comb oily - oily skin type. I've never had a huge issue with my skin; recently though, I've been diagnosed with a thyroid disorder (hormone deficiency) + stopped taking the pill after 10 years. With all of that being said, my face seems to be breaking out like I am 15 again.. + I cannot seem to control how oily it is. I tried many other (half decent) products with little to no results. I began using these clinique products approximately 1 month ago; I have definately seen a difference; my skin it not as oily and little by little it is clearing up. I am very happy with the products- my skin is left feeling fresh and clean, and the over all appearance has improved. I will continue using this product."

"I read so many reviews about this, and finally bought it. After 2 weeks of use, I LOVE IT! The one thing I don't really like about it is that the liquid soap will sometimes leave you with the dry tight skin feeling, but once you use the lotion and the gel, it's perfect. So I really recommend buying the set instead of just one of them. I don't think i'll ever stop using this!!"

"Im an average 15 year old girl in high school. Ive struggled with mild acne since 6th grade. I could never, EVER, find a product that worked. Nothing would clear up the little red bumps i had all over my forehead and the breakouts i would get on my chin. I finally decided to try clinique's 3 step skin care system... and suddenly everything fell into place. It didnt take long either. I have been using it religiously every morning and night for the past three weeks, and by the 2 week, my skin was completely clear. I mean, for the first time ever, i walked outside without putting make up on, none at all. It felt amazing to be able to do that. These three little products have changed my life. "I am a red head with fair/sensitive skin and since my pre-teen years have tried product after product and encountered overly dry skin, overly oily skin, a combination of both, not strong enough product, two strong to the point of burning. Since beggining to use this product in 2009 my face has cleared up, been balanced, beautiful and healthy! I'd recommend any and all cClinique products to everyone!"

Pros: smooth radiant skin minimizes pore size, a lot of product for the price

"I always had combination skin and throughout the years have used a lot of high end products as well as drug store brands. My skin was always 'ok' but I could never get it just right- I recently starting experiencing larger pores, small blackheads on my nose and started getting fed up. I thought maybe I was using products that were still geared toward acne which maybe made me overproduce oil and clog my pores.

I thought maybe I needed to move toward a more neutral but still effective product-- I started to look into Clinique and the three step system about 6 weeks ago. Absolutely AMAZING results. My skin has never looked better with the 3 step and I wish I wouldve started it sooner. My skin is extremely smooth, more radiant, and my pores look almost non existent now. I do use the 7 day scrub before the 3 step at night which is great as well.

If you're hesitant, try the sample sized products first, they lasted a few weeks for me and you'll be able to see how your skin will react to the product."

"I love this system! I have been using it for about 2 weeks now, and I already see a big, positive improvement! I have oily skin that use to bother me throughout the day, and now I hardly notice it! I wanted to focus on having a routine to keep my skin clean, I never have had acne or anything severe though. I love using this before I go to bed and I when I wake-up because of the clean, refreshing feel it gives my skin! I seriously love these products, the price is great too, which is always a plus!"

"A few months ago, I decide to visit Clinique's website and found the 3-step skincare, but at that time I wasn't sure if I want to spent that much money since I'm not sure if it's suitable for my skins. So it happens that one day I re-visit this site, and they offer the 3-step skincare sample with a $40* purchase (either $40 or $50). So I order a few products and received the sample sizes. I used up the sample sizes and it works very well on me especially now that Spring/Summer is here. So I came back and purchase this set full size."

"I have combination skin that is very sensitive and prone to break-outs often. I decided to try the moisturizer after reading all the great reviews online. When I went to buy the moisturizer, I was given trial size bottles of the liquid soap and toner for free. I have been using the 3 step system for about 3 weeks now and I have noticed a complete turn around of my skin. I no longer have the painful cyst pimples on my chin and my skin is so much softer. I also suffer with melasma and a lot of redness and I am shocked at how much the spots from melasma have faded and the redness is just about gone. I will continue to use to 3 step system and look forward to years of great skin!"

"I have always struggled with tiny whiteheads on my nose, chin and temples. I would regularly use toners or exfoliating scrubs but nothing worked, I have been using Clinique 3 step now for 2 days and they are TOTALLY GONE. My pores have never been so clean and I can see a noticeable improvement in my complexion. Absolutely radiant. I think I may need the # 3 clarifying lotion for oily skin as my pores are so clean my skin seems to be secreting more oil. Only reason for 4 stars."

I've been here before

"Okay, so I reviewed this before but things have changed since then, I'm kind of upset about it because my mom got me this for Christmas because before my skin was doing really well. Now... not so much. I have tried so many skin care products (my parents used to say that I bought a new product every time we went to the store...) and this was my favorite product for almost a year. My skin was super soft all of the time, and I never had any bumps. Now I have 3 super painful pimples on my forehead and the rest of my skin has an all over bumpy texture. I'm really disappointed."

Pros: clears up skin but not a big difference(for me)

"When I first used this product, this product felt great. Then after a few weeks later, my skin started getting itchy and it seems like it was getting irratated. So now i finally decided to take off the whole cleaning, and go back to my other face wash, when i took it off. i NOTICED alot of dry patches, this was more than usual, beacuse usually i would only have it on the side corners of my cheek, now its all over my face. BUT!, im going to try it without the TONER to see if it does make a difference. as of today, iwent back to my old cleanser and used a different moisturizer."
