Pros: oil-free, scent-free, it work! just as advertised.

Cons: none that i can think of.

"Ater using Scruffing Lotion 3.5, the area above my chin started to become flaky. dried scales started to appear after an hour of using it. I tried some creams(non-clinique) but none of them helped me much because my skin would still become a little flaky after awhile; It was then that i decided to give this cream a try and ordered it. After using it the first time, i saw the results. My skin is not flaky anymore and it doesn't feel oily."

Pros: a little goes a long way, unscented

"I had used this product in the past and received fantastic results and for some reason I stopped. I began noticing drier tougher skin and figured it was a sign of getting old. I accessed Clinque online and saw the Max Hydrator and <DING> i knew what I was missing. I Ordered it right away and my skin looks and feels much better. I'm still getting old but you'd never guess my age. Use this product!"

"This is thick and absorbs really well. You'll notice a difference within a week or so. Skin just looks better. It's especially good to put on before bed. In the morning, it's absorbed and the skin is more flexible and lines start to disappear."

"At 46, I was noticing more wrinkles and uneven skin tone what seemed like every day. I had never used any type of skin product before, but my mother has been using clinique for years and at age 76, looks 20 years younger, so I thought I'd give it a try. I bought this product for night use, along with another for day, and after 3 weeks of using, I can see a very noticable difference in my skin. It has become healthy looking, and less wrinkles! I would definately recommend this product."

"maximum hydrator seems to work very soon after application. i noticed that for me, it worked well to reduce the fine lines above my mouth area. it does great on forehead wrinkles too. keeps skin from drying out. just keep it away from your eyes. its a nightmare if it gets in your eyes... i cant comment on the finish look because i often use too much so it creates a greasy finish. im sure if applied lightly it should soak in well with less shine."

"I have dry combination skin (Skin type II) and sometimes during the winter it would be extremely flaky around my mouth and on my chin. THIS MOISTURIZER BANISHED ALL THE FLAKINESS. If the M Lotion is not moisturizing enough, get this instead. Obviously don't get this if you have acne-prone/oily skin. I started using this and it made my cheeks break out for about 2-3 days, and went away. This is reserved for the faces that have dry, normal, or combination skin (dry on cheeks, and slightly oily in T-zone). I also noticed the redness on my cheeks diminished a little. My skin would feel super soft and my pores looked slightly smaller. AGAIN IF M LOTION DIDN'T WORK FOR YOU, TRY THIS...it might work. I have been using Clinique every since I was 14 and switched to the Men's line when I was 17 or 18 (I'm 21 now). I got this for Christmas in 08' and it came at the right time for winter. I'll probably switch back to M Lotion for summer."

Maximum Hydrator - Mine for Years!

"Several years ago, just wondering what one Clinique's new men's products would be like, I took home a Maximum Hydrator. What iimpressed me (and still does) is its ability to keep my facial skin quite moist, yet never cause it to look or feel greasy. I have quite short hair as well, and now and then after showering I'll put a tap of this fine product on top also! This is definitely a morning & night product for any man who wants to keep things looking "lookable" for many years!"
