"I have chronic dryness and seborrheic dermatitis on my forehead and scattered on my face. This cleanser is gentle, removes makeup and doesn't leave my face feeling like it will crack open if I don't moisturize immediately! I usually use a tinted moisturizer or a mineral-based powder foundation and have no problem with residual makeup. If I wear a fuller-coverage foundation I do need to spend a little more time massaging the cleanser in to remove all residue."

"They titled it right. So soothing and like many of the products, has that fresh smell that I LOVE. (How do they do that without added fragrance?) I've used Clinique since I was 12 and now I am 47 with great skin. NO ONE thinks I am in my late forties! I love Chlinque!"

"I have very oily skin, so I actually like the dry tight squeeky clean feeling after I wash my face, because within an hour my skin is already getting oily again, and with this product, my face did not feel clean after. I was actually purchasing the Facial Soap for oily skin, and the clerk noticed that I had redness on my face, which I do and I want to get rid of that, so she recommended this for my skin, but my gut feeling still told me to go with the facial soap, so the clerk gave me a sample of this, and I'm SO glad that I did not buy this. Even though I did not give it a chance to show any results with the redness of my skin, I felt like I was putting a heavy moisturizer on my face instead of a cleanser, I felt like it was soaking into my skin and it felt so oily and when I washed my face with warm water, it felt like it was still on my face that I had to use my other Clinique soaps to wash it off my face."

"This cleanser does feel good on your face, and it moisturizes too. However, it just doesn't cleanse all that great. I still have leftover residue/makeup even after I wash my face, no matter how much I use or how long I rub it in. Did slightly reduce redness, but I've found a different brand cleanser that works better for me. Also, the container it comes in is not very user friendly. It should come in a bottle with a pump."

"I been using this product for yrs, it is very gental on my face , and I like it, I also use the other redness creams for my face. Try it for yourself. I use alot of clinique products because I have very sensitive skin and found out some others will make my skin itch especially around my eyes. It is worth the try if you have a problem with other creams."

"I have used all of the redness products & overall had been happy. However I noticed that when I would use the redness cleanser & then use my toner I was still having an excess amount of residue left. I increased the amount of the cleanser I was using just a bit, but still had residue afterwards when using my toner. I will continue to use the redness solutions line but have found another cleanser that does the job much better."

"This is the only face cleanser which I can use on my extremely sensitive, eczema ridden skin. I have tried many cleansers that say they are made for reactive skin and this is the only one that I can regularly use. It not only keeps my skin from having freak outs but also if I use something new on my face that does cause it to react, this cleanser calms it again."

"I had trouble figuring out what was going on with my skin. It would get red and blotchy after a workout or any time my body temperature would rise. I bought this and the balancing powder to conceal the redness. I have only had to use the powder twice in two years, and that was in the first week! It leaves my skin feeling clean without feeling dried out. It has worked wonders for me!"
