"Pros: It glides on smoothly and I do not really feel it when it is on. My shade is tenderheart. It is under the nudes/natural section. It is a lipstick you can wear everyday because it is so natural. Not dramatic at all. I love it! However, I duly noted that the shades shown on the website are not exactly like the actual lipstick. It is better to go to the Clinique counter to know what a shade actually looks like."

Pros: gentle on sensitive lips.

Cons: web samples not true to color

"Different Lipstick is soooo nice for sensitive lips!

However, my chosen color of 'Heartfelt' looked more like a dark raspberry and gave me super bold lips! (4 star rating is only due to web sample not true to life)

After reading many reviews, I'm going to try 'Sugared Grapefruit' in hopes of a softer everyday look.

I think this lipstick is worth pursuing until I find the perfect shade. The worst that will happen is that I'll have a rainbow of colors to go with my wardrobe! lol!

"I first got this lipstick in 'Think Bronze' around ten years ago as part of a free gift set. I fell in love with the shade, along with the formula which is creamy and stays put as well as any tube lipstick I've found that didn't dry my lips out really badly. It is fairly sheer looking on my lips but adds more color than a gloss would. I have neutral coloring but the shade is as close to pink as I am willing to go in a lip color. The swatch on this page doesn't really do it justice."

"My mother loves this lipsick in the Sugared Grapefruit shade. She thinks the color looks good against her complexion. It is not too bright but not too pale either. She's been buying Sugared Grapefruit for years, and it's one of her favorites. Her only complaint about the Clinique lipsticks is this: THE PRINT UNDERNEATH THE TUBE IS WAY TOO SMALL FOR HER TO READ! She literally cannot read it. PLEASE make the writing bigger so that older women like my mother can read the words. Even I have a hard time reading them, and I am 44. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you."

"I've been wearing "Different Lipstick" by Clinique for 30+ years. As a fairskinned dark blond, it's hard to find attractive colors that are 'bright enough', yet not too bright. "Ice Bloom" and "Raspberry Glace" (the latter, one of my forever favorites) work beautifully."

"I like the different lipstick line, its moisturing with staying power. I can put this one on and it'll go on smooth and color lasts all day. Warmed Brandy is a great shade! I think it could go with anyone's coloring. Its a shade that instantly warms up the face, healthy color. I've even used it as a blush, looks good.

It goes well with the lipgloss KnockOut Nude for a sparkle overlay. The KnockOut Nude has very little color but lots of sparkle, great by itself for a 'no make up look' keeps lips really moisturized, not sticky. I didnt' think the 'plumping' formula did anything noticable."

"This review is for the double fudge color. It is so wonderful for my coloring, which is light with yellow undertones and LOTS of freckles/sun "patches." I have dark brown hair and eyes. I love tenderheart for everyday, all-the-time use (that is fabulous!). But double fudge, which I was scared of due to the dark color, is PERFECT for a bit more color or evening wear, although I've been wearing it for daytime too. A light application gives a great "deeper than lip" color, while more application amps up the "drama", but not too much. This is a great brown red...very sophisticated/mature. (No other way to describe it) I am so pleased!!!"
