Best brush ever!

Pros: well made, powder goes on even and smooth

"I love this powder brush! It's held up very well with daily use for a few years. Loose powder goes on very well with it and has a smooth appearance. I keep it clean with the Clinique brush cleaner which takes a few minutes to apply and rinse and then the brush dries overnight."

It sheds on every use

Pros: blends makeup very well

"I've had this brush for only a few days and every time i use it i wonder if its going to last me a long time because it sheds like crazy. For the price, it should be of better quality. Other than that, i love how it finishes my make up."

Pros: distributes evenly, can hold a lot of powder, firm but soft

"I love the Powder Brush. It works really well. The bristles are firm, but soft, and, depending on how you sweep it across the compact, it can hold either a little or a lot of powder. It distributes and blends the powder evenly and nicely. I use this with either Perfectly Real Compact Makeup or Stay Matte Sheer Pressed Powder. Plus, it doesn't shed! Another great product by Clinique!!!"

BAD PRODUCT

"This particular product of Clinique's is horrible and unlike the skin care range! The bristles fall every time its used making it necessary to wipe one's face, so what's the essence of using the powder? Would have had them returned to the shop but for lack of time. The production of this brush should be stopped. I have used the three step skin care for years and have also used other skin care products of theirs and have been highly pleased with them."

"i got this brush to go along with my superbalanced powder makeup. i agree with some of the other reviews- the bristles are not the softest and do come out easily. i'm glad i purchased it though since the brush that came with the powder is too small."

Loses hairs easily

Cons: hairs fall out easily

"I like the texture and shape of this brush, but have been disappointed that the hairs in the brush fall out on my face and float down on my clothes and sink counter. I have washed it a few times, which makes the issue worse, but it has to be washed. I have had other brushes and not had this issue."

Outstanding brushes

Pros: well designed, cost-effective, better end result than the alternative, very nicely manufactured

"I own four of the Clinique brushes, thus far. The powder brush is my most recent acquisition and it is as well-made as my eye brushes. I paint in watercolors and believe I am probably more critical of brush construction than many people-this is an excellent and very well designed brush. The powder brush is facile to use and takes less time than the traditional Clinique loose poweder rub-down, wastes less powder and seems to give me a thinner, more even finishing layer with significantly less effort."

"I had been using a really small poweder brush forever and my face makeup would always just look "cakey" and overdone. With this brush i get fantastic, even coverage, and said good-bye to "cakey" face makeup! i absoutely love this brush."

Good powder brush

"i like this brush. It has a full abundant head of ultra soft bristles, that glide ever so smoothly over your skin. The long handle gives you extra control. I was a little reluctant to spend the purchase price, but after using the brush, I'm glad I did. It is much better in quality, than the cheaper brush I had been using, and it does not shed bristles on to you face."

Great Quality Brush

Pros: soft, bristles don't fall out

"I've purchased cheaper brushes before from name brand cosmetic companies, but they can't compare to the quality of this brush. It places just the right amount of powder, and the bristle DON'T fall out. I really wasted my money before--they always left a few bristles on my face and were scratcy. I've also got the new foundation brush and love it. I'll definitely be buying more of Clinique's brush line."

Light coverage

"I've only had this brush a few weeks, and I have to say so far I am somewhat disappointed. I do like the soft bristles and the way it delivers an even application.. but it does not offer enough coverage for me. For days when I do not want to wear foundation, I am looking for medium to full coverage with powder and this brush only offers light coverage and it is not buildable."
