Great product...what a surprise!

Pros: smooth light easy to apply and full coverage

"I ordered this as I was looking for a light foundation to use when i am not using the redness formula that Clinique has. I ordered with the knowledge that it would probably not have the coverage I was wanting...I was pleasantly surprised. Received it yesterday and I love it already! highly recommend that you try it. I have already told my niece about it."

"I love this product. I purchased it based on other's reviews and I was very happy. I'm 46-years-old, sun-damaged skin, wrinkles around eyes/forehead/lips, t-zone oiliness, large pores; This foundation/powder provides excellent coverage without settling into my lines and wrinkles. Stays on all day; I purchased a lighter tone for winter. I'm now purchasing a darker tone for summer."

Redesign

"I have been using this product for 10+ years, and I am annoyed by the casement redesign. I find this compact hard to hold and the mirror isn't as useful as before. Of course, the make up is still wonderful as is the applicator sponge. I just wish I could buy it in the same style compact."

"First, let me say that I have NEVER written a review for make up i.e. foundation ever before. I, like so many others, have tried a zillion, spent a fortune and found all of them lacking. My skin isn't the easiest either! I have mild roscaea, enlarged pores and combo/oily skin. When I purchased this product, I thought for the price, I had nothing to lose. Honestly, I LOVE the SuperPowder Double Face Make up - Love seems to be an understatement. I have found that it is very easy to apply, (mistake proof), goes on smoothly, easy to touch up and it matches my skintone so perfectly that it looks natural. I am so thankful to have found this product - I will never switch to anything else. I use the sponge for application and it is a breeze. It cuts down my getting ready time tremendously. It is beautifully packaged, priced right and it is a great product. I am 150% satisfied. Thank you Clinique!"

Easy to use, and Beautiful

Cons: dewy face by the end of the day

"I have been struggling with acne and dark spots for the last 2 and a half years and I have been searching for a foundation that wouldn't break me out, cover my acne, and control oil through out the day. This product does just that, and applies beautifully. Although my face after an entire day still appears dewy, the foundation itself doesn't melt off unevenly. I apply this with a buffing brush, which gives me more coverage ontop of my concealer. This is perfect for students and people on the go because its quick to apply to the face, and the results are still wonderful."

"This product is great, it covers better than any of the liquid foundations I have used! I will never stop using this! Clinique--please don't ever get rid of this powder....I also love that it is compact and not loose like some of the mineral makeup out there, and honestly it covers way better and is super long lasting!"

Covers Great and Looks So Natural

"I love this makeup. I really wanted to have a makeup that looked very natural, not caked on, but I love full coverage so I was worried that this would not cover. I had tried another company's mineral makeup before but it just didn't give me the coverage I wanted. I was so pleased with this makeup!!!! Plus, I save time & money now because I don't need to purchase foundation & powder, this foundation does the trick."

Sticking with Almost Makeup

Cons: cakey, coverage not as expected

"Ugghh... I had high hopes for this powder foundation, especially after reading so many great reviews. I have very fair skin and it was tough finding the best match for me. The color I picked left my skin looking orange and it was not good. I didn't think it gave me that great of coverage, but I really noticed a heavy, cakey feeling. I don't get this feeling at all from Clinique's Almost Makeup and I'll be sticking with that."

"I have been trying to find a good foundation for my difficuclt, acne prone, oily skin for awhile. I' ve tried the City Base foundation and it's okay but for me it gets cakes and looks weird. So I decided to try this because of the reviews I read on here. At first I bought the wrong color, (stupid me, thinking it would be easy to match my skin color online) and when I called the toll free number, a very nice lady helped me match up the right color based on which one I was using currently with City Base. When it arrived, two days later, I tried it. Perfect, stayed on my face all day without needing a base, my face did not feel oily at all and there was no need for touch ups during the day. I love the fact you can use ase much as you want and you don't look like you have a mask on. I love this stuff, and I hope Clinique never stops making it!"

Pros: easy application, lightweight -- feels like no foundation at all!

"I have really good skin -- the result of having a mother who slathered me with zinc oxide throughout my childhood and I've stayed out of the sun ever since because I burn. So, now at almost 63, I've never used any foundation. I was making another Clinique purchase and the sales woman showed me the Double Face Makeup. Despite being skeptical, I purchased it, and now don't feel dressed without it on! Goes on so easily with no foundation weight, and it makes my skin look even better. I love this stuff!"

"Two products in one is so great. Foundation and Pressed powder combined is so convenient to use. I don't have to apply separate foundation and press powder this one does both a product I cannot go without. I have a very sensitive and acne prone skin but this product is very light and don't give me pimples. Very nice product and it really hides my freckles my boyfriend said it made me look younger. I will recommend this to everyone. Very very good product. I so love the product that I'm buying all the females in my family to try for themselves."

A really nice addition to my routine

"Usually I just use the Almost Powder, or if it's a special occasion I throw on some foundation. I decided to give this a try to get a little more coverage without the extra step of applying foundation, and I'm really happy with it. The extra coverage gives me a little more of a finished look than the powder alone, yet it's just as easy to put on - a couple of swipes and you're done. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is that it has a slight unpleasant odor - it's not very strong, and I don't notice it when it's on my face, but I can smell it in the compact and on the sponge. Also, when it's really humid, I still need to finish with some powder to cover up the shine."

Great product that really works

"I so love the product powder and foundation combined? how cool is that? I fell in love with it the first time I've used it and it doesn't give me rashes and acne unlike other products. Cheap price too compared to other name brands out there. My $ is worth it.. Makes my face looks young and smooth.."

Pros: goes on smoothly and covers face well.

"Love the Double Face power/foundation. I usually am in a hurry to get ready and this makeup helps me be speedy, but covers nicely and even helps conceal blemishes. I have tried other types of powders and foundations, but haven't found one I like as well as this."
