"I love this makeup and have used it for at least 5 years. It is just light enough not to look caked on but enough coverage to look even on my skin. I'm sad you are taking it off your shelves. I just ordered 2 because I love it so much. When I went to the Clinique counter the other day, they recommended Stay Matte Beige to replace my Stay True Beige. The lady was super nice and helpful. She even gave me a sample (for 10 days) to try just in case it didn't work. I've been using it for a week and my forehead looks oily and I've got acne starting as well on my forehead and nose area. It definitely doesn't match my wonderful Stay True Makeup that I've depended on for years :( Soooo sad you decided to discontinue it. I'm thinking I will have to switch makeups now to find something comparable."

"Please Please bring back Stay True!!! I LOVE Stay Beige and Stay Sunny! I have used them so long with zero worried about my foundation. Now, I was forced to try "Even Better", and "Stay Matte". I hate both of them! Please Please Please!!!!! Bring this foundation back! The Matte does not offer the right colors. The Even Better changes colors on me and feels very goopy even though I use it very lightly. It seperates and looks really blotchy on me. I'm constantly dabbing my face and it's only April. The humidity isn't even here yet.
The Stay True was PERFECT! It felt like it rubbed in to my skin to make it look better. I don't know how to describe it, but these other formulas feel like they're just sitting on top of my skin waiting to make me look all blotchy. I don't like them. If I don't find another bottle to hold me over long enough for you to bring it back, I'll have to find my beauty products from somebody else because I've already tried yours. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!!! I love Stay True!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Pros: stays on well in the summer ! skin looks perfect., dosen't clog your pores unless you sleep in it !, great mattyfying coverage.

"I've used this product for years. And I love it. I have no idea what I'd switch too instead if you quit making this. The color stay ivory matches me to a T. And the foundation lasts well in the texas heat. I used to use superbalanced years ago, but in 30 minutes I'd look melted. So I switched to stay-true about 6-7 years ago. Please keep making my favorite foundation ! Also I'd love a cream to powder compact version that i could take with me for airline travel ! Thanks, Abby."

"I rarely write reviews, good or bad, but I must echo all of the other loyal Stay True buyers who are very sad this product is being discontinued. In an effort to stay with Clinique, I diligently tried each and every other foundation option they offer, and there's not one that's even close. Some irritated my eyes, some covered like a bad heavy blanket, most didn't cover at all, the textures are off--I really did work my way through all of the other options in hopes I could find a decent Clinique replacement. I have come to the conclusion, I am sure like many others, there isn't one. I don't know if Clinique really listens to their customers or not--I guess time will tell if there were enough of us to make a difference."

"I have found three, maybe four, Clinique formulas/shades that have worked for me over the years and all of them have been discontinued!

I love Stay-True makeup in Stay Beige. It is the only color in the Clinique line I have found that matches my skintone. This formula does not change in color as the day goes on like other foundations I've tried.

Pros: oil-free, long-lasting, natural looking in daylight, fragrance and spf free

"This is the best make-up ever! I have very fair and very sensitive skin, and this is the only make-up that works for me. I have been using this ever since a competitor changed their formula (to include SPF and fragrance!). I am allergic to both of those products on my face. I also have exceptionally fair skin, and Stay Ivory has a lovely natural tone, as opposed to a yellowish or orange hue. Your other products don't carry this light of a color, so I can't even try anything else. Please reconsider bringing this item back to your current line...just did a quick internet search and Stay True Stay Ivory is in high demand and getting 2x price on major i-shopping sites--clearly it's a desired product."

Best liquid make up ever

"I love this foundation so I do hope Clinique will not discontinue it. I have very oily and acne prone skin and this foundation almost balances and calms my skin. It blends well, goes on smooth and natural. I have used this foundation for at least 15 years and it is the only kind I can use. I have tried other things recommended by the Clinique consultants but they break out my skin or make it felt tacky like I'm wearing a white sunscreen that won't blend."

"I am sooooo disappointed that Clinique has discontinued the Stay-True Oil-Free Formula Foundation!! I have used this particular foundation for over 15 years and my skin goes into a state of panic anytime I experiment with any other brand. I must use a full coverage foundation so I recently tried Clinique's Continuous Coverage Foundation however the lightest shade is still to dark for my skin. (Which I have also read in many other ladies' reviews.) Other then the dark shade issue Clinque's Continous Coverage Foundation is ok however I just learned that Clinique will be discontinuing the Continuous Coverage Foundation too! What formula will be replacing Stay-True and Continuous Coverage? I am really disappointed and hoping that Clinique is on the verge of releasing a new full coverage foundation that will be even far more superior then my all-time fav Clinique's Stay-True Oil-Free Foundation. :("

"I've been using this for only a few days now and I'm very happy with it. My skin becomes very oily throughout the day and I haven't had much luck with any other foundation keeping it under control. This does a pretty good job of that. I'm bummed it is being discontinued and hope its replacement is just as good if not better."

"I have used Stay Light for a very long time...maybe 25 years. It covers my Redness very well and is the perfect shade for my skin color. I've noticed it doesn't have as much yellow tint as the other shades. I'm just hoping they don't discontinue this line, which is what my local Clinique consultant told me they might do."

I've gone to other shades (they don't match as well) but I hope you do not discontinue this line. Some of us don't like SPF in their foundation (oily skin people) as we put that on w/moisturizer)"

"I used to purchase Clinique's Clarifying Makeup until it got discontinued. When they replaced it with the Acne Solutions I was very upset. Acne Solution's coverage was not good for me, so I did my research and came across the Stay-True makeup. Although the color selection is very limited, I have to say that the way this makeup appears on my face is great. It covers up pores, hides shine, and controls oil pretty well. The only downside to purchasing this makeup, is that it is rumored to soon be discontinued."

Great Oil Free Makeup

"I have been using this makeup for about 6 weeks now and I have absolutely no complaints! It has a medium coverage which is great and it does not change colors or get oily for many hours. I would recommend getting two different color samples and trying them before making purchase. I have a good color for myself but there aren't many colors to choose from overall."

"This foundation is amazing! Goes on more evenly and smoothly than others I've tried, and it doesn't accenuate fine lines. Controls oil, face contiues to feel fresh throughout the day. Choose ivory based on reviews that shades tend be darker than expected. It was perfect for me. Please say it isn't true that this is being discontinued."
