Best Translucent Powder!

"I bouht this power because i told the lady in the counter that I wanted translucent powder. I have been buyibg products of clinique almost for a year and I have bought over 10 products and this is the best one because i have an extremely oily t zone and this is the only thing that control it. Also when you apply it over foundation it makes my skin look natural no matter how cakey your foundation is. NOTE: I use invisible blend."

"I had been using the Superbalanced Powder Makeup over my foundation for quite some time and decided to try this powder. What a mistake. I have been breaking out in tiny zits everywhere on my face. I am so disgusted that I spent $21 for this powder and now have to throw it out. I am going back to the Superbalanced."

Good But Not Great

"First off, I do want to say that I do like this powder and I do think that it is one of the best powders out there. But...........I really miss the Gentle Light powder. And after looking over the other reviews left here, so do A LOT of other people. I really wish that Clinique would bring that powder back, but until they do, the Blended Face Powder works. I like the Invisible Blend because I don't have to worry about matching my skin tone which can change somewhat from day to day. This powder has been around for a very long time and it's easy to see why. It's gentle on the skin and provides a nice soft/matte finish. It's probably one of the lightest powders (in texture) on the market. I don't find that it cakes on my oily skin, but it does wear off mid-day. Good purchase, but the Gentle Light was better."

Pros: sheer, matte

"I recently returned to this powder and I forgot how good it is. I use it as a finishing powder with a big fluffy powder brush and it gives a nice polished finish. Sometimes I just put concealer where i need it and then just powder lightly with this and skip foundation. I have used Clinique since I started experimenting with makeup at 14 years old, which was 25 years ago, and I keep coming back to the brand for reliably good products. Keep up the good work Clinique."

"First you change the formula of the once-wonderful Repairwear and have turned it into something that covers nothing and makes the face look grease slicked, now you discontinue the best face powder ever - the Gentle Lights Powder. After more than 30 years of using Clinique,I am changing brands."

"After several years of using the GLOW #3, Clinique has decided to dicontinue it! I can not use the BLENDED because it makes my make-up look cakey! I am seriously considering discontinuing use of Clinique. Every time I find a make-up, eye shadow, concealer you name it, Clinique discontinues it!!!!"

"So dissatisfied with this powder. I loved the glow that the other powder gave my skin. Now I have to go elsewhere since you have discontinued. This powder cakes and does not give your face that glow. Unless you have perfect skin and no wrinkles buy a different powder."

Pros: fragrance free, super fine, excellent quality, easy touch ups

"I prefer loose powder to pressed b/c the application gives a more natural less caked look. THIS IS THE BEST LOOSE POWDER. A little goes a long way. The jar will last you a very long time, and its super fine and matte for a flawless finish. I will never use any other powder. Also I LOVE that it doesn't smell."

"I have been a faithful Clinique customer for over 30 years. First, they discontinued my foundation and now my Gentle Light Powder!! I agree with the other reviews, the soft glow in this powder was wonderful, I always received many compliments when I wore it. There is NO comparison to the Blended Face Powder. I'm sad to say I won't be a Clinque customer anymore."

"I agree with several of the other reviewers. Please bring back the Gentle Light powder. The Blended Face Powder is not a substitution especially for "older" skin. The Blended Face Powder gives your face a matte finish which accentuates the wrinkles. The Gentle Light powder softened their appearance and gave my face an overall softer look. I have been using numerous Clinique products for over 35 years but I am going to research other cosmetic companies for a face powder."

Bring Back Gentle Light Powder!

"Please, PLEASE Clinique, bring back GENTLE LIGHT POWDER! I switched to it several years ago from Blended Face Powder and liked it so much better. Now that it's gone, I had to go back to Blended Face Powder and I'm quite disappointed.

Blended Face Powder is OK, but it really gives your skin a completely matte finish. This is not a great look with my now older and non-glowing complexion (I'm 58). It emphasizes all my lines too.

Blended Face Powder was lighter weight and its slight sparkliness added a subtle glow to my complexion. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!"
