Soft brown looked natural on my asian sparse brows

"Tried the Soft Brown and thought it looked natural on me. Not a harsh brown on my sparse asian brow. My brow tail is short. I was able to create an illusion of a more longer and tapered tail and without looking fake. Not waxy, more like a solid powder/matte formula and it still glided smoothly. Need only a small quantity so be careful in twisting for more color because it won't twist back."

"The last two superfine Liner for Brows I purchased would not twist out of the barrel and could not be used. I loved this product, but will no longer buy it until Clinique fixes the defect and makes the product useable."

"As a woman whose eyebrows only extend to the middle of my eyes, brow pencils became important to me early. I'm a dark blonde and have gone through every brand and every color available but always found them unnatural (and most, as others have mentioned, are reddish). But Clinique's soft brown is PERFECT!! It goes on beautifully, looks natural, and the color couldn't be better. I always make sure to have several on hand because I fear running out."

Pros: perfect brow pencil for color and application!

Cons: there's little warning when running out.

"I was thrilled to find this pencil many years ago. It is perfect for creating fine hair lines, feathering and filling in. The (soft brown) color choice is the perfect match for my brows! In the past, every blonde or brown pencil was always too light, too dark and or too reddish. Clinique's (soft brown) thankfully has no red highlights.

I always purchase two pencils at a time to never run out."

Pros: this is the best brow product i've ever tried.

"Having always had auburn hair, I assumed the light auburn would be my color. However, my first purchase was at the Cllinique counter at the mall & I found that soft blonde is perfect. Easy to apply - looks very natural. Will not use anything else. Would be helpful to know when it's almost gone to make sure I have a back up on hand."

"I was so excited to try this item because of its ultra thin line it produces. You barely need to turn it up to use it. I am very pleased with the results. I am primarily happy with the color-it is my true match. I've been using a dark reddish brown for years and realized I've been very dissatisfied with that one so I am moving on for good with this one please don't stop making black/brown!"

"Amazing pencil. Dark brown is the most perfect match for my brows that I've ever had. The point doesn't need sharpening (a messy, wasteful process) and yet is so fine it makes undetectable strokes when filling in and adding on. I look so much younger with more visible eyebrows!!"

"So happy to find this pencil. It's hard to find an auburn/reddish blonde pencil. When you do it's usually too red, dark, or brown. this one is perfect!!! Love the fine tip as well. Please don't ever stop making this! Just hope it's waterproof or water resistent as I live in a hot climate."

"My brows have thinned and are growing lighter as I age. I have tried lots of different products. This one is by far the best! Goes on great, covers the light brow hair and stays put. I did listen to the reviews and ordered a color darker than what I thought that I would need and I am glad that I did. The color was perfect. I also try not to press down too hard when using the pencil. That justs takes practice and I have not had much trouble with the pencil breaking. LOVE CLINIQUE AND LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!"

Pros: very easy to use even without glasses.

Cons: breaks easy

"I love this superfine pencil. I have been using it for over a year now. I know some people have had trouble with it breaking off but I have only had one pencil that did that and it happened to the whole pencil. My only complaint is when I go to the store to pruchase some they are never in stock and I have to order on line and then pay S/H. Please do not stop making this product. Love, Love, Love it."
