A makeup staple

Pros: lasts all day, easy application...goes on smoothly, blends well

Cons: messy. i keep a wet towel nearby to wipe hands.

I love this product! Why discontinue?

"I love, love this product and was so dismayed to find out it was being discontinued and unavailable at my local department store. I much prefer liquid blushes/bronzers for my less young skin. This bronzer looks more natural on and avoids the old lady powdered look that I want to avoid. Creams are "okay" but liquid is still the best. I have fair skin and the bronze color looks great for a little summer time color. Too bad I can't find my favorite winter color, peach. Please bring this back!"

"I am a huge Clinique fan and absolutely love buying and trying new products from the company. Out of all the products I have purchased over the years I think the illuminator is my favorite!!!

I recently purchased both the natural and blush due to my fair skin color and I'm glad I did. I think the bronze would have been too dark, but the natural gives me just the right amount of color. My husband keeps admiring my coloring and I keep telling him it is the makeup, but he doesn't believe me.

It is well worth the money and a little bit goes a long ways."

"This has become the staple of my makeup bag. In a hurry I just put some of this on my cheekbones and brow-bones, and put on mascara. Really brightens up my face and makes my skin look less tired and dull. Its shimmery, not sparkly, but in certain lighting the sparkles are more visible. It gives a natural dewy look rather than over-sparkly and fake look. (bought the natural color)"

Pros: lightweight and sheer

"This sheer, lightweight illuminator give your face an all over glow. I mix the bronze color with my foundation and my face instantly has a glow. Because it is sheer it gives your face just a hint of a dewy glow and it looks very natural and flawless. It is so lightweight it blends very evenly on your skin. If you want just a hint of a glow I do recommend this. Clinique, thank you for another great product!!!!!!"

"This little bottle makes a big punch! I just dot a little on my cheek bones and I get a dewy fresh glow. I bought the natural color so I can use it in summer AND winter, but it would be fun to see what the bronze would look like, too. Just make sure to blend it a bit so it looks natural. I don't know why people are saying it's sparkly or glittery. There are no kid-like sparkles, which I am very happy about. I'm really looking forward to using it in winter when we all know skin can get a little blah."

"This is a must-have on those days when I look tired and my complexion needs a lift. I mix the Natural shade with a little bit of my Moisture Surge foundation and apply it to my cheek bones. It illuminates and helps to hide the sun spots on my cheeks. For a little more glow, I apply it to my brow bones and underneath my hairline on my forehead. This is the perfect product for the make-up minimalist."

A fun product

"I was unsure of how to use this product at first. I am lacking much color in my skin and lack all brightness. So I first tried the illuminator all over my face but it made me look more oily than anything else. I then tried it on my cheek bones and below my eyebrows and that seemed to be the ideal locations. I think if I had more color in my face and a better complexion, I would love this product. Hopefully I will get a bit of a tan and that will help. but overall, I like the product."
