Great body wash

Pros: moisturizing

"The first time I used this body wash, I was put off by the weird dry feeling of my skin after it rinsed off in the shower. But later in the day I noticed my skin felt very soft. That dry feeling is just a lack of soap scum other products leave. I can't wait to pair it with other Deep Comfort products!"

Cons: leaves a film, no lather

"I'm a huge fan of the Deep Comfort Body Moisture so I thought I would try the body wash. Disliked it instantly. If you like squeaky clean skin, this isn't the wash for you. The lather was non-existent and it left a sticky film. It felt so awful that I had to rewash using another body wash. I will definitely be returning this product."

Deep Comfort, a fitting name

"I love, love, love this product. It really leaves my skin clean, moisturized, and comfortable. My second favorite aspect about this bath gel is that it doesn't leave my tub oily and slick like other products can. I'm an older person with drier, thinner skin and it's important to me that a bath product not only delivers its skin care promises, but that it also not be a safety hazard to my bathing experience. I enjoy every product in the "deep comfort" line but this one is the best."

"Love this product! is rich and creamy and moistures really well. Only complaint is I wish they would use a pump bottle, is very hard to get out of the tube near the bottom."

"i was so disappointed in this product! i adore clinique and knew this would be the answer to my dry skin this winter. i got it with the deep comfort body lotion and neither one have delivered the results i was hoping for, i'm still dry and itchy."

Pros: lathers well w/small amount, no fragrance, little goes long way

Cons: can't completely empty tube; feels wasteful

"I have very sensitive dry skin, and this as helped me feel much less dry, especially during the summer months when i don't use a lot of moisturizer. Winter will be easier with this wash coupled with the Deep Body Comfort Moisture (lotion)! Have already recommended it to friends!"

Pros: relieves itchy burning sore skin., leaves skin soft

"I have had itchy, sore skin for years and tried just about every product available. My husband purchased this product for me hoping that this might help. (He buys me the perfume etc also). This body wash is great as it has no scent and leaves my skin feeling soft, relieves the itch and soreness. Please don't change the formula - I have never used anything so wonderful. I feel normal again after so many years."

"I see how this product was given its name. This is truly a comforting experience to soak in a bath and use the Body Wash. It is also one of the few washes that doen't cause my allergies to react. No itching following a totally ralaxing experience. It makes my skin feel so soft also."

Smells funny

Cons: smells terrible!!

"This works and feels just like the discontinued Skin Cushion Body Wash, but it has a strange smell that I find very off-putting. I know it's supposed to be "fragrance free", but I have tried 3 tubes now, from 3 locations thinking perhaps I just bought a bad batch, but they all smell the same way...smells bad. I won't buy it again. CLINIQUE: IF YOU ARE READING THESE REVIEWS, PLEASE BRING BACK "SKIN CUSHION BODY WASH"!!! The scent was fantastic--very light, very "expensive" smelling......i know skin cushion claimed to be "fragrance free" too, but something in it smelled wonderful. I am so depressed without my skin cushion body wash!!"

Best Body Wash

Pros: fabulous natural clean feeling.

"I have used this product for a few months now and am totally addicted. The clean feeling is one of a "natural" clean, no residue left on your skin yet your skin feels soft. I simply cannot shower without it and I always make sure I have an extra on hand.
It is a great product."

Pros: it's still clinique but not what i like

Cons: does not have a pleasant odor

"I received this as a gift from one of my daughters because she knows that I am so happy with Clinique Skin Cushion. I have been using it for many years, and give it as a little gift occasionally. I am soooo disappointed with the Deep Comfort because it does not have the wonderful aroma that the Skin Cushion does. In the past I have had many people ask me what body wash I use because they say I have such a refreshing aroma about me. Please tell me if I can possibly buy the Skin Cushion anywhere in San Antonio, TX? I will be very disappointed if I cannot ever get this product again."

Pros: does a good job.

Cons: smells bad! bring back skin cushion., does not appear to be an improvement at all.

"Like Jody53, I also was not happy with the smell of this product. Not only did I see no improvement over Skin Cushion, the scent turns me off! Please bring back Skin Cushion, which does just as good a job and smells wonderful."

"I totally agree with Jody 53. This is the replacement product to something that I used to use that had the best scent to it. I LOVED it. This has the correct texture and moisturizing traits, but the scent or lack thereof is aweful. I am mixing with Happy Gel Wash so I can stand it. Bring back the old product please."

Deep Comfort Body Wash Smells Bad

"This has been my go-to body wash for winter for years. It is the only wash that keeps me from itching in the dry, winter months. However, I just bought two bottles for this year and Clinique has changed the formula! As best I can tell it still feels the same but it smells bad. It is like one of those lotions where you are supposed to have no fragrance but you do and it is just a chemically smell. It used to have such a nice, clean light fragrance. In fact, I used to avoid some of the less expensive body washes because of the "no smell" and now I think they smell better than this. Sorry Clinique but this is a thumbs down from me : ("
